About The Twin Doctors

The Twin Doctors, Dr. I and Dr. J appeared on television for the first time during season 22 of CBS’ “The Amazing Race”. Since appearing on The Amazing Race, Dr. J and Dr. I have also appeared both internationally, nationally and locally on CNN’s Weekend Express, Al Jazeera’s The Stream, News Nation’s Morning in America, CBS’ The Doctors, The Ed Lover Show, WCIU Chicago’s U and Me In The Morning, Fox 32’s Chicago News at 9 and 12, Fox 32 Chicago’s Good Day Chicago, ABC 7 Chicago’s Windy City Live, Bold TV’s Bold Life, SiriusXM Urban View’s Karen Hunter Show, SiriusXM Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning Show, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, The Michael and Joi in the Morning Show and on WVON Chicago’s Maze Jackson Morning Show. The Twin Doctors have also been featured in The Hollywood Reporter, on Comedian D.L. Hughley’s The GED Section, Black Web America and Docs Outside the Box. Idries-Abdur-Rahman

Dr. Idries, known as Dr. I, is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist. He practices alongside his twin brother Dr. Jamil (who is also a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist) in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

Jamil Abdur-Rahman

Dr. Jamil, known as Dr. J is a retired Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves Medical Corp. He is also a licensed private pilot and a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who holds a faculty appointment at the Rosalind Franklin University.
